Compare your points of view with those of the cardinals who are eligible to vote at the 2025 conclave.
The Cardinal-O-Mat is not a voting recommendation, but feel free to recommend it to any cardinals you know ;)

Which cardinals should be considered?
Select which groups are to be included in the evaluation.
All cardinals under the age of 80 are part of the conclave. That is just 135 cardinals.
We have data here on 42 cardinals who are eligible to vote and 8 cardinals who have already exceeded the maximum age.
The most promising candidates are known as papabili. Any compilation of papabili is of course subjective.
There are 17 papabili listed here, who are mentioned in several sources.
Two of the papabili are older than 80 and therefore not part of the conclave, but can still be elected pope.

For several cardinals, only limited information is available on their positions. They are marked with asterisks(*).
These gaps in knowledge influence the calculation of agreement and may overestimate or underestimate it.

About the Cardinal-O-Mat
The Cardinal-O-Mat
The Cardinal-O-Mat is a project for a playful examination of the positions of the cardinal electors at the upcoming conclave.
It is a complete hack and makes no claim to completeness or objectivity.
The Cardinal-O-Mat serves only to present information freely available on the Internet.
I assume no responsibility for the accuracy of this information.
Nevertheless, all statements have been researched to the best of my ability and the intention is to provide as objective a presentation as possible.
In particular, the Cardinal-O-Mat has no (church) political intention and is not connected to the Cardinalium Collegii Recensio.
My favorite, by the way, is Pierbattista Cardinal Pizzaballa, but only because of his name.
The sources
The positions of the cardinals presented here are based on information freely available on the internet.
The primary source is the Cardinalium Collegii Recensio (CCR); the positions were largely cross-checked or enriched with information from reports from the BBC and Reuters, among others, as well as the sources linked on Wikipedia.
The CCR evaluates the positions of the individual cardinals, in some cases very clearly in terms of right or wrong, and is reportedly close to traditionalist US groups.
The Cardinal-O-Mat expressly distances itself from this representation.
The choice of topics and the selection of cardinals can influence the resulting image of the College of Cardinals to a certain extent.
For the Cardinal-O-Mat, the topics were translated as objectively as possible into statements and the CCR's assessment was not adopted.
The selection of topics has already been extended beyond the CCR and further cardinals are constantly being included in the comparison on the basis of information available elsewhere.
The Papabili are not the 22 cardinals designated as such by the CCR, but a selection of cardinals who are unanimously regarded as particularly promising in several sources.
Further development
The Cardinal-O-Mat is constantly being developed further.
